Does anyone have any idea what is going on? Is it true? I just woke up and the Prophet is saying something happened at the Ministry early this morning. Did You-Know-Who really just take power? What are we going to do? Was anyone's parents injured? ~~Harry~~ Were any of you in there? What can we do?

This does not bode well for my campaign to get your father let you come back. I know he's been unsure about letting you go back to Hogwarts. My own isn't sure that if You-Know-Who is really in power if it'll be safe for me and Boyd. I don't know if I want to go back anymore. If he can take over the Ministry, there is no telling what he can do to Hogwarts.

I had a nightmare last night. I'm not exactly sure if I've woken up yet or not. I must be though because mum has cooked more than enough for me, dad and Boyd. I'm surprised my other brothers haven't come running in to leech food off of us all yet. They're beasties those two. I sort of wish they were here right now though.

I think Lachlan had an interview near the Ministry sometime on Monday. I'm not sure if this situation is ongoing if I want him to go. Thinking about it all like that, I'm not sure I have much of an appetite for this breakfast.

	We're all kind of waiting around to hear if my Dad has been injured or not. Mum is wearing a hole in the ground and she keeps sending owls to St. Mungo's. If the Ministry is in lock down I don't know when we're going to hear from him... (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	The Daily Prophet said that mediwitches have been allowed in and out of the Ministry of Magic to transport those that are injured. Unless they send word to your mum that your dad is at St. Mungo's, it's likely he's really okay and still holed up inside. What does your mum's clock say, anyway? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Of course it's likely true what the Daily Prophet is saying since they have likely gotten statements from those mediwitches who have been inside and the patients they are transporting out. However, if Voldemort really took over, who knows what anyone can do right now. All the Aurors and Hit Wizards were likely inside the Ministry at the time, and if they couldn't diffuse the situation and fight him off? It's really bad.

Mum made it sound like Voldemort planned the attack really late at night so there wouldn't be very many staff members around. Dad has been working late again though. We went to bed without him. Mum's blaming herself. We don't know if Percy was there or not.

Think there's any more Auror's or Hitwizards inside? I bet they don't leave the place empty at night. That would be stupid.

	I really hope your dad's okay. Percy, as well, if he was there. Of course they don't leave it that empty inside! After everything that has happened the last few years, especially with your dad being attacked and Death Eaters getting into the Department of Mysteries? 	I wouldn't necessarily call it faith. They would be quite ridiculous not to add more protective measures after everything. If they didn't, then they really just brought this upon themselves. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	If the Daily Prophet is right though and this attack did happen and most of the people who are meant to be able to defeat these people were inside, who can protect us. I mean, we're just children. The Ministry of Magic only makes up a small percentage of the Britain's wizarding population. If people don't like what is going on, then I'm quite certain that will have something to say about it! Though, as Ron pointed out, it was during the evening, so perhaps there is still a good majority of the Aurors and Hitwizards not inside the Ministry.

I sort of payed attention into History of Magic a few years ago. It's not about majority or minority though. The minority can lead and if they have the power there isn't a whole lot we can do about it. Reading or talking them to death isn't going to work, Hermione! ~~Though I'm sure you're boring enough to kill anyone who is exposed long enough.~~ I hope Ron was right.
